No one is reading this yet, and I am not offended because I have told no one about it... and plus we're not gone right now and I'm sitting in our Vancouver basement suite which is not at all exciting unless you find waking up to the sounds of 4 and 2 year old boys stomping around upstairs adventurous and exotic.

This post is for a list. A list of things that I would like to do while we're away. I'll check 'em off the ol' list as things get done. Here they are:

1. Ride an elephant (duh)
2. Ride a camel (duh)
3. Climb the great wall (and I don't mean one of those wussy 30 minute climbs)
4. See the Terracotta warriors
5. Go on some kind of week long trek
6. Go on a cruise
7. Live on the beach (for a while)
8. Eat giant mangos
9. Go on a safari (or 2, or 3...)
10. Find Stuart's friend in Cambodia and hang out with him.
11. Snorkeling
12. POSSIBLY scuba diving lessons
13. Swim with dolphins and giant sea turtles
14. Eat one thing that makes me cringe
15. Stay somewhere fancy for our anniversary

That order in no way reflects which I want to do most! ... actually, riding an elephant would be top three or maybe number one...

Book 'em Dan-o!

That's right ladies and gents, girls and boys, the flights are officially booked!
After much deliberation and hours and hours of research (flight times, dates, places, and routes) we have decided on our first and last destination to be....
Shanghai!
Why Shanghai? Because we want to explore China! Why not start in Beijing? Because the flight that was the same price as Shanghai (935) had a 14 hour layover!
Much to my mothers chagrin, we did not book cancellation insurance. So no one had better die before we leave. You hear me?! NO ONE!
We celebrated our booking by breaking out the bubbly at 11pm...
